HAPPY NEW YEAR! I’m too sleepy to articulate any further well-wishes than that, but there you are anyway.

If you’ve read the rest of the Teinyu series, you’ll know what five’s about. One part manga (haahahahahahaha), other part Charagumin ads and other assorted sketches. By-the-by, the opening animation sequence that Araizumi references here is for the Book Walker interview show he and Kanzaka did, what, was it early 2012 or ’13? I can’t remember. Anyway, that was the intro piece.

This book was edited by Tom the Mighty, translated and typeset by yours truly, and scanned by Melfra. Between me and you, guys… I’m terrified for 6. (And 7 just came out! Gotta start putting money away for that one, derp.) Anywho, enjoy!

Oh, no! It’s the last post of the year! Good thing we’re making it an AWESOME one. Today’s doujinshi is from an anthology of Shirow Miwa’s Final Fantasy works, specifically 7, 8, and 9, and they are FABULOUS. In every case but one, the stories are all epilogues of the original games (though I suppose it’s different in Agharta’s case, since it’s a comic adaptation of the final battle against Safer Sephiroth). And did I mention it’s awesome?

Anywho. Edited by Tom the Mighty, and Melfra, and translated and typeset in record time by yours truly. Enjoy!

I don’t think I’ve had much of a chance to fangirl at length over how much I love Wild Arms lately. For the uninitiated or otherwise informed, here’s the short of it: I like it. I like it a lot. A friggin’ ton. My only real regret is that I haven’t replayed the original game in years and years and years. And no, Alter Code: F does not count. Alter Code: F doesn’t count for jack shit in my eyes. But I digress. It just so happens that Cecilia is my favorite character in the game, rivaled only by Jack in my heart, which is why this doujinshi is the bee’s knees as far as I’m concerned because it’s pretty much “them”-centric. And yes, please feel free to put on your shippy goggles, ’cause it’s there if you squint. (I squinted so hard my eyes hurt. But oh, sweet vindication.)

Anywho, that’s enough of my garbling on. It’s late, and I’m incoherent from a hard day’s work! This book was very graciously scanned in by Kini, who was kind enough to supply us with all sorts of other Wild Arms doujinshi for this year as well! Eee. I’m giddy. Granted, we might not be able to get to all of them this time around, but oh, it won’t be for lack of tryin’, I can tell you that. This doujinshi was also edited by Melfra and typeset and translated by yours truly on my lunch break at work. (TELL ME THAT’S NOT AMAZING.)

Enjoy!

As pathetic as it sounds, it took longer to write up the summary for this story than it took to actually post it. Hey, some things defy truncation. Anywho, this book is set generally around the events of volume 15 of the novel series (if you’re not at least familiar with what happens, you might want to fix that), mainly focusing on gag the first half, and a Luke-centric story about him and Millena in the second. Man, I love novel-based doujinshi.

If there’s one thing that rivals my love for Slayers, it might be my love for nearly anything by Arina Tanemura (sue me), especially if it’s related to Ginyuu Meika. (It’ great. Go read Full Moon and tell me it’s not great.) Still, two shoujo doujinshi in two days? Good god that’s a frightening coincidence. I think it’s time to churn out some hot-blooded Shirow Miwa action tomorrow. OOPS AM I GIVING AWAY OUR GAME PLAN? (Oh, who am I kidding. Since when do we stick to a game plan?)

At any rate, this doujinshi was edited by Melfra and Zippy, translated and typeset by yours truly, and QC’d by… Approximately no one but myself. Good lord. Let me know if there are any errors so I can cry about it when I go to sleep tonight and burn rubber trying to fix it before work tomorrow. HAH.
