The Twelve Days of Doujinshi, day three: Strawberry Lunch 4

Strawberry Lunch 4
Series: Full Moon wo Sagashite, Ginyuu Meika, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne
Author: Strawberry Lunch

If there’s one thing that rivals my love for Slayers, it might be my love for nearly anything by Arina Tanemura (sue me), especially if it’s related to Ginyuu Meika. (It’ great. Go read Full Moon and tell me it’s not great.) Still, two shoujo doujinshi in two days? Good god that’s a frightening coincidence. I think it’s time to churn out some hot-blooded Shirow Miwa action tomorrow. OOPS AM I GIVING AWAY OUR GAME PLAN? (Oh, who am I kidding. Since when do we stick to a game plan?)

At any rate, this doujinshi was edited by Melfra and Zippy, translated and typeset by yours truly, and QC’d by… Approximately no one but myself. Good lord. Let me know if there are any errors so I can cry about it when I go to sleep tonight and burn rubber trying to fix it before work tomorrow. HAH.

Twelve Days of Doujinshi, Day 7: Bunny-girls need love, too

Wow, a week in and we haven’t missed a day yet! This has to be some kind of a record. Anyway, here’s a rarity — shoujo doujinshi!

The Cycle of Love (Part 3)
Series: Full Moon wo Sagashite
Author: Kyakya Asano (Strawberry Lunch)

Two things to note about this doujinshi: First, don’t be daunted by the “Adults Only” note on the cover– damn thing’s a typo; second, while this IS the third entry in this doujinshi series (yep, breaking my own rules about doing series out of order…), the other two are ostensibly deserving of the “Adults Only” label. Not that a lil’ thing like that’d ever get in the way of me doing it, but alas, not having the scans DOES. So if you ever stumble across anyone selling parts one and two, or if you yourself have them and would like to get rid of them (or mail them off to us to scan!), you know where we are~

Anyway, the story takes part during/after the bonus chapter in volume three of Full Moon, so as long as you’ve read the full series anyway, you’ll have all the background information you need.

This chapter was brought to you by ZippyZippy at the editing AND typesetting helm, scanned by Melfra, and translated by yours truly! Enjoy!

Tomorrow’s starting to look like either Cardcaptor Sakura or Slayers, lawl. PERHAPS… BOTH?

12 Days of Doujinshi Day seven – Fullmoon wo Sagashite: Dear Moon

So, remember that 12 days of doujinshi thing? I’m going to do my damnedest to get back on track with that so we can finish up by Christmas. You’ll root us on, right? Heck yeah, I know you will. TP fans are nothing if not loyal, and let’s not take into consideration the fact that there’s just no one else out there who’s doing what we’re doing. Anyway, that’s beside the point.

On that note, we’re actually running short on doujinshi to do, so if any of you have any doujinshi to share (preferably short-ish, less than 40 pages ideally), drop us a line over at the forum! Only catch is, it’s got to be within the next 24 hours or there’s no way we’ll get to ’em… And preferably from series we’ve already done would be nice.

Now, about the doujinshi! First off, this was done by the circle Strawberry Lunch, which is actually made up of Minase Ai, one of Tanemura Arina’s own assistants, so you know it’s going to have that same Full Moon feel. In fact, I wonder if you can consider this canon…? Either way, the sketches at the end of the book include some from Shinshi Doumei Cross, which was first published in Ribon around the same time as this book was released, so you know that had to be a treat for fans. Anyway, enough of my babbling, GO DOWNLOAD IT.
