This is what happens when I don’t deliver on promises!

So, a while ago I said we’d start churning out our new line of projects “next week.” That was, as you can probably tell, a full month ago. What can I say? It’s all in a day’s work here at TPS.

If you’ve been with us since the beginning (and I know a few of you have– WE LOVE YOU GUYS), you might remember that we had a couple of “upcoming” series listed that we never really got to, much to the consternation of a few concerned followers, and we ended up taking down said series out of sheer shame before anyone else could call us (me) out on our (my) shameless procrastination (sorry guys). YOUR WAIT IS AT AN END.

The Tailor Series: The Pale Forest
(Tsukuroi-ya Series: Awai no Mori)
Chapter 01: “The Pale Forest?
Read Online

The Synopsis:

Within the boundary separating one world from the next, “rips? in the fabric of space will occasionally form. These tears allow the two worlds to bleed into each other, and, if left unattended, may threaten the everyday lives of the people living nearby. To find and repair these distortions, a tailor named Rem travels around the world along with his companion, a doll in the shape of a small girl.

This was published in the same magazine as The Sleepy Residents of Birdcage Manor, Omamori no Kamisama, and S.L.H (WOW BLAST FROM THE PAST), so if you liked any of those, odds are you’re going to enjoy this, too. It’s got mystery, comedy, a good dose of drama, and… Oh, who the hell am I kidding, half of you stopped reading when you hit “RIPS IN THE FABRIC OF TIME.” I know, I know. I feel you. Doctor Who fans should love it too, just sayin’.

This chapter was edited by Rainstride, typeset by ZippyZippy, QC’d by both Melfra and Clov3r, and translated by yours truly. Tell us what you think in the comments! For what it’s worth, this has a reputation on Japanese blogs as “The Tsundere Tailor and the Keigo (polite) kid.” AND IT FITS.
